CASABLANCA 2025 – INDUSTRIAL ZONES AND THE INDUSTRIAL FUTURE OF THE CONTINENT

The 7th edition of the Industry Meeting Days opened on July 21–22, 2025, in Casablanca, at the iconic Sacred Heart Cathedral, confirming the platform's maturity and influence. Organized by Industrie du Maroc Magazine under the aegis of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, this edition focused on the central theme: "Industrial Zones: Shaping the Industrial Future of the Continent."

Over 3,000 participants from Morocco, Africa, and other regions of the world attended, including public officials, regional representatives, business leaders, investors, institutions, researchers, and international partners. This demonstrates the growing interest in Industry Meeting Days as a reference platform for industrial dialogue at the continental level.

A PROGRAM STRUCTURED AROUND ACTION AND CO-CREATION

Designed as a space for concrete dialogue and co-construction, the 7th edition offered an expanded program including:

• high-level plenary conferences;

• sectoral masterclasses;
• B2B sessions and professional meetings.

Debates focused on key themes for Africa's industrial future, including sustainable industrial zones, appropriate infrastructure, digitalization, artificial intelligence, energy transition, productive sovereignty, structuring local value chains, talent development, and regional and international cooperation.

Guided by a long-term vision, the 7th edition aligns with national strategic orientations led by His Majesty King Mohammed VI in industrial development, advanced regionalization, and South-South cooperation. The opening ceremony, attended by top institutional personalities, government members, regional presidents, ambassadors, professional federations, and industrial leaders, set the tone for an edition focused on action, innovation, and convergence of visions.

TANGIER 2024 – A NEW INDUSTRIAL ERA DRIVEN BY SOVEREIGNTY

The sixth edition of the Industry Meeting Days was held on July 11–12, 2024, in Tangier, under the theme of a new industrial era driven by sovereignty.

The edition addressed the operational levers of industrial sovereignty, including value chain integration, digitalization, Industry 4.0, technological innovation, and skills development.

Special emphasis was placed on industrial innovation and entrepreneurship, facilitating connections between project leaders, industrialists, investors, and institutions.

This edition consolidated the platform's role as a tool supporting national priorities in building a resilient and competitive Moroccan industry.

INDUSTRIAL INVESTMENT, ROYAL PATRONAGE, AND STRUCTURAL DECISIONS

The fifth edition of the Industry Meeting Days was held on April 28–29, 2023, in Tangier, under the theme of industrial investment as a driver of employment and economic prosperity, benefiting from Royal Patronage.

The event brought together several thousand participants from both public and private sectors, illustrating growing interest in productive investment and industrial cooperation.

Debates focused on strategic investment orientation, reduction of territorial disparities, the new investment charter, and Morocco's integration into global value chains.

This edition confirmed industrial investment as a central pillar of economic recovery and sustainable development.

INDUSTRIAL SOVEREIGNTY AND TERRITORIAL COHESION

The fourth edition of the Industry Meeting Days was held on April 1, 2022, in Tangier, under the theme of industrial sovereignty, in a context marked by the recovery of industrial activities after the pandemic.

The program included thematic panels dedicated to food, energy, and health sovereignty, continuing education, research and development, and industrial investment as a lever for sustainable regional development.

In parallel, the Industry Meeting Awards ceremony honored companies and industrial personalities for their performance and socio-economic impact.

This edition strengthened the platform's territorial anchoring and consolidated its role as a structured dialogue space around national industrial priorities.

INDUSTRIAL INNOVATION, TRAINING, AND INTERNATIONAL OUTLOOK

The third edition of the Industry Meeting Days was held in Casablanca under the theme of industrial innovation and training in the service of job creation in the regions. It placed innovation and human capital at the heart of industrial competitiveness and territorial development.

The first edition of the Industry Meeting Days, held in 2017, marked the launch of an ambitious initiative to structure a dedicated space for dialogue on industry and productive investment. This inaugural edition laid the conceptual and methodological foundations of a platform designed to remain a key player in Morocco's economic and industrial agenda.

From the start, Industry Meeting Days distinguished itself through its strategic positioning and international outlook. The event hosted a bilateral economic meeting between Morocco and the Republic of India, reflecting the platform's commitment to openness, cooperation, and international economic partnership.

The program of this founding edition covered major themes related to industrial development, investment, and opportunities for economic cooperation. The exchanges brought together institutional representatives, economic actors, and experts, fostering a first convergence of views on industrialization and value creation challenges.
